April Photography

I have added new pictures, below my ramblings. Enjoy! Oh, and I do apologize for the images looking 'crispy' and over-edited, as I took them from my Facebook folder. What does this mean? You have to 'spruce up' your images quite a bit for them to look acceptable on Facebook. So, I suppose I should crank it back down when I post them here, but I'm not going to. I don't edit much anyway, let alone doing it for this blog. All is good. Come join me for some great picture taking!

I haven't even got photographs up for March, and now we're at the end of April as well! I will post some pictures, soon; I promise!

I'll get some photos up, soon! Until then, I want to get back into the 'health and wellness' business, so here are a couple links to pages I will be promoting. Okay, so we managed to sneak out to Goldwater Lake and have some fun with the kayaks. What a blast, especially as we only live 5 minutes from the lake. Throw 'm in the back of the truck and go! It was warm, overcast and a bit windy, but still very nice. Didn't get to see any Bald Eagles this trip, but we know they are out there. Enjoy the images and have a great day!

February Photos

I've been extremely busy, so I have not had time to post any content or pictures. Listed below is a mixture of different photos I've posted on Facebook during the last month. I try and post at least a picture or two on my page each day. If you would like to view them, visit here, Photography Guide In Prescott Arizona.

One thing I would like you to keep in mind while reviewing these pictures, is that I'm not big on post-processing; meaning, I don't do a lot of editing of the pictures. If I spent over a minute on a picture it's to much! Why? Because I'm not here to edit the heck out of pictures; I'm here to teach you how to take the great photographs...and that's it. I'm here to assist you with angles and lighting. If you want to learn how to use LightRoom or PhotoShop, you'll need to go somewhere else.

So, with that in mind, please take a look at the pictures below, and look at them with a discerning eye. Meaning, visualize yourself in my shoes, as best you can, in each shot below, and see how you may line up the target differently. A different angle, different lighting, etc., etc. But, please DO NOT look at it with a 'post-processing eye,' meaning, you can always add sharpness and color and all kinds of stuff later, on your own time. Get it? Good!

Understand that I'm not opposed or against any post-processing. It's just that it's not what I do here and now, and it's not what I teach. We each have only a set amount of time we can dedicate to photography and such, and I spend my time on angles and lighting out in the field, not on the computer editing pictures. Hey, if that's your thing, great! Now, on to some pictures.

What do you think? Quite a variety. Once again, please look at this as if you were in my shoes, shooting these at the location. There's all kinds of ways to 'spruce' these pictures up, a lot more than I have done. But once again though, this isn't what I'm doing and not what I'm here for. January 2019

I've been really busy, yet I've needed to get a new blog post up, so here it is. I don't know what to 'title' it, so I'm just going with January 2019. I'm going to just post some pictures here, random pictures, of what I have been posting on my Facebook page, Photography Guide In Prescott. It's where I update and add pictures, daily. Why? Because it is just a lot easier than uploading images, here. So, without further ado...

Okay, so this may be the way to go when it comes to posting on this blog. As opposed to specific blog posts being about a specific topic, just lump several pictures together and post them. And then save 'hot topic' posts for individual posts and writings. Remember, this blog post isn't supposed to be about pretty pictures. It's supposed to be about advertising and promoting my business as a photography guide in Prescott Arizona!

Well, I will get to promoting it. But for right now, I'm busy around the house. :-)

Winter In Prescott Arizona 2018

This post will contain images of winter in Prescott Arizona 2018. We received snow on New Years Eve, 2018, and it was beautiful! Unfortunately I've been to busy to post any pictures, as I've had to shovel show, work on a furnace that isn't working quite right, etc. I am sure you know the drill, if you live in a cold climate. (Prescott Arizona really isn't that cold on an average basis, but we are in the middle of a cold spell, with lows around 8 degrees.) That's cold for us!

When I get time I will post more pictures, but here are a couple for now.

I will need to finish my chores and then I get to play; meaning, posting more pictures!
